Full Change was considered nice because bonus LP is considered nice, not because the method of acquiring that buff was nice. And it's the kind of nice that is actually harmful in the long term; if the developers were to increase all LP, stat and quality increases tenfold that would likewise feel nice initially, but you'd speed through the progression so fast the game would become less interesting as a result. An increase in LP gain (or any resource players acquire over time) would have to be compensated by an equivalent reduction in LP gain (e.g. curio nerfs) or additional LP sink to maintain the current balance.

It's not about "interesting", they just can't complete game content before world wipe. So, maybe just make another server with x10 rates. It's just amazing to replant carrots every two hours and start farming cachalots at day two.

Overall, the credo system replaces the belief sliders entirely in terms of gameplay buffs.

Whether or not spiralling exists is a separate concept, it has been added/removed a number of times and sliders wasn't the only way it has been done over the years. There's no reason to reimplement the belief system if "bring back spiralling" is the request. Plenty of ways that can be added in without the cancer of belief sliders. I think the blacksmith credo had something spiralling related at some point a while back.

I have no idea whether or not spiralling is a healthy gameplay mechanic for the record.

Biggest complaint seems to be the excessive timegate that was deemed mandatory due to LP gain bonus.

Maybe just have three options, for the bottom-most slider for example you would only have "Tradition, Balanced, and Change."
