I think the fact that you need to experiment a lot before you can "solve" the system is the right way to do it. We have public lists and tools to make it easier already, there's no need to change anything.

(Also it's funny to see that Snail is mad that he has to put in some effort before he can find the most optimal way to minmax the game even further.)

see above retards for thinking that snail somehow doesnt already have all the most optimal recipes, which you guaranteed do not have. you only serve to benefit from the system being easier to parse and not having to rely on THIRD PARTY PROGRAMS THAT CAN STOP EXISTING AT ANY TIME

I'm not upset that I need to solve this. I don't. I have 200 client features and ~15 friends I play with to do it for me.

I spend nearly all of my playtime raiding retards like you, and based on my extensive going-through-other-people's-things experience 90% of the people posting in this thread are eating foods that are like 10-20% as effective as what I'm eating.

I literally just want the game to be easy enough to get into that some more people who like PVP will play it. Some of the shit I say on the forum is subjective, obviously, but the need to search through literal millions of recipes before you can even start to rly play the game or know what to do being bad isn't a subjective opinion. It's objectively dumb.

It's not even a system you can meaningfully interact with as a human. It literally requires machines to interact with. So fucking stupid.

Pvp just sucks in haven. The only fun part is dunking on people who are weaker than you and dont know how to run and drink.
And that part is also enjoyable only for the griefer types.

Even a stopped clock is right twice a day, as is the case here. A system that relies on trial and error benefits those who can perform the most iterations. In other words, the variable FEPs system disproportionality benefits groups that are larger and/or have access to more resources. If it were reasonably predictable, then a hermit would be able to reason that X recipe could be improved in Y way without having to spend whole cupboards (and the time required both to gather the materials and perform the crafting) to go through all the possibilities or having to rely on external information to tell them which recipes are good.

I'm not sure I quite understand what point you're trying to make, because that is exactly how I have discovered which recipes are better than others. Could it be less complicated? Yeah, of course, but don't base the reasoning for that on the fact that someone has collected all that information already and makes better use of it. That doesn't even make sense, if they wanted everything to be easy and simple they would have implemented it that way in the first place.
