Nevermind, choosing pay to play is for an...unknown game like Haven really odd...I would gladly pay 15$ or 25$ once to get an account and have unlimited time for a world lifetime, may even more for account lifetime, but not 15$ a month...really, for this money I will get Sky or some other PayTV and have fun all day with football and movies...

May concider this decision - it's never too late to change something and keep your community.

I'm new here but I have to say one thing... Transparency is key to the future of your game. I guess I signed up and looked at the game years ago. I was told by everyone today this is a free game. I myself don't care if I pay or don't pay for a MMORPG as long as it's good. I'm sure most people this game targets would love to pay.

But to slap your players with this on the launch of H@H2 seems to be one the most rudest and crazy things I seen in a MMORPG. On top of this you probably pissed so many 12 year old kids who knows what the impact will be overtime.

I myself don't care I'm going to try the game and more then likely contribute but I want to say if you want to survive in this world then you need to be more transparent... This was a really bad and I mean bad announcement time on your part.

Let me be clear and say that I fully understand the need for a system like this, and anyone who doesn't is unreasonable and wants things for free that are not free to run.

Now when that's out of the way, here are my honest opinions and feedback on the systems as they look now.

I think the system would be ok, that is IF these things are fixed.
Note that this is just my opinion and it is not perfect/flawless.

1: The playtime is waaaay to low
For this to be an ok system, 12 hours a month / 24 hours a month with a verified account is way to little, atleast triple that and I could accept it.

2: Make upgrades
If we will have to pay for haven like this, I expect the servers to become more stable and of higher capacity, and with more frequent updates and bug fixes for the game.

3: Servers for old worlds
When you pay for playtime like this, it's unfair to have it all whiped out when a new world starts. One should be able to continue playing in the old world even when a new one gets released.

4: Prices are a bit steep
IMO the prices as of now are quite steep. I think cutting them in half would be more reasonable.

Haven is what we all love, that is why we're here, let's not give up just because of something like this.

The new game plan is great, I understand how jorbtar wants this to go, but the way it's done is not good.

It's not like people don't want to pay for this awesome game, it's just that there is no communication to explain and introduce the game plan first. It would've left better taste and better experience of game launch!

Now that I have come to my senses that this isn't joke (thats a problem too with haven community we tolerate trolling alot of time so it's hard to take something serious in a glance, jorbtar also loves to troll abit ) and read through the store in detail and thoughtfully, hey it wasn't that bad afterall!

But for the first few minutes to be honest it looked horrible because it's against my expectation, we are humans so we need the mooching and persuading done for us before we can accept new idea or new stuff. (done through media like trailer or press release, etc.) There is process involved before we can make our decision.

The long wait time and delays just made it worse, people are mean when they are almost out of patience, not the best time to ask for money.

So in a nutshell it's just wrong timing and communication.

I am sad that a lot of people today was left with bitter and disappointment, a product launch shoudln't leave negative message. If it's done correctly I guarantee there will be a lot less people complaining and a lot more people that support this new game plan. I myself will subscribe and pay for the game of course! At this point there is no turning back muhaha.

But for now I'm waiting for the server to get stable. That's my take on the new haven!

Just make it 100% F2P with premium for $10 - $15 a month?
Premium needs to give some perks for it to be worthwile, but nothing too overpowered.
Also add cosmetics.
