And what this bot will do if after your teleportaion, there will be crossroad between you and him?

Why would you ever use just one archer for a trap?

Why do you ask me? I think the idea itself is pointless and you will more likely loose all your archers pretty fast. At first they should be able to shoot the target. There are many factors depends on location and spawn. Then they also should be able to deal enough damage to a target (so they should have better gear/stats then the target). Then they should be able to kill the target, because archery itself cannot kill. And after that they will have crime debuff so they will not be able to logout and there is a good chance they would be instanlty tracked and killed. So you should waste X archers with good enough gear and stats to kill random person who can even be a forage alt. Pointless

Nope, you just need rage and archery, with all the time in the world to build aim bar you don't really need MM. And all the gear you need is bow and arrows, which is dirt cheap. Dropping KO-d target's gear and spamming punch doesn't seem like something hard to automate.

What do you mean by 'with all the time in the world to build aim bar'? On my 6 years old laptop it takes ~1 second to load everything after teleport. Or this bot is for killing afking noobs without armor?

Agreed, its automation... basic automation, but automation all the same. If people are going to argue about botting, it needs to be defined.

not all botting will immediacy effect other players. most of it wont effect other players untill a few weeks or months into game... when the Q is increased by the bots to be higher than the human counter parts.

Q bots wont be much of an issue this next world with the Q cap. Yes the botters (high automation) will get their first, but it wont be enough to tip the whole worlds balance into the botters favor.

The point i am making, and i think i have mentioned at the start of the thread is: The server will find it hard, or almost impossible to define a legal, player action.. and an "illegal" bot action.

im not saying its fair, because its not. Im not saying we should welcome it as a community, because we should not. What i am saying is that on a technical level... the work required to achieve what people want would be significant for a full team of full time devs... nevermind two guys ,who you could argue, give us more content patches than WoW (thanks for that Jorbtar, thumbs up! ).

Maybe people should look at how it could be done, how we could stop bots... use google... then realise, that its futile. You may not like it, but accept it, turn that anger and energy into other ideas that CAN be implemented to make the game better.

the way how all the botters are freaking out and getting super defensive in this thread proves that we're on the right track with the OP's suggestion
- b-b-but... you can't always tell a bot from a legit player!
- then why are so scared?

Do you even bow? You can hold a filled aimbar indefinitely.

Ok, let's implement it. I actually want to see the community reaction when everybody who has auto curio gets nuked from orbit :)

Do you think we would get new terrain? how would the fallout hurt a player? is it HP damage or HHP?

That kind of thread just proves how dumb most people are, it's like the 1 000 000th thread about it, the answers for the whole thing exist already and no one cares, no one reads, no one understands... yeah it's easier to keep posting more threads about it. The "you can't tell part" is not a problem for botters, it is for legit players who will be nuked for no reason since there is no revive.
