We need Kitty cats

This idea isn't bad either:

Having a farm of goofy, nearly useless animals would be neat. Rabbits are a bit like that already but you can't name them or interact with them much which kills part of the fun.

Pikachu is an electric mouse, yes. But there are cat pokemon. I'd totally pay for a meowth reskin.
