And 300 is low so it makes the idea sound silly, that's why the opponents always post it: to burn straw men so they don't actually have to argue. Same goes with them completely ignoring that basically no one suggested a hard start cap, but burning that straw man is also easier than to actually argue. Because in the end they only have one argument: they don't like the idea of numbers not incrementing endlessly - they think they have theirs, so they give not a fuck about the rest of the game...

I remember that old thread.
It went like "Stat caps are bad because they were implemented in a bad way in the past"
