Doubling total lp from curio gains would be pretty neat as a limiter for questing lp.

As someone who has played since world start but not had much time to play between work and kids, I honestly wouldnt be opposed to this. I think the world has been in full swing for too long to change the quests now, you would just be creating an even unreachable gap between players who have quested consistently and those who havent.

Doubling curio gain would be a nice way to even out the play field abit, even if it might push the skills to slightly rediculous heights. Unfortunately we are already at that stage with the current quest rewards.

I totally agree that players who invest more time should see more reward, however I think someone like me who relies heavily on keeping my study desk topped up and a few quests a day will never be able to come even close to competing because that gap is way too large at the moment.

Apparently the fix to the Commune With Nature -spam on previous world was to give it hidden cooldown. Spell still wastes your XP if you try it during the cooldown. Nice work devs.

I'm just sick of always feeling like I need to quest to keep up with people. I don't want to grind quests for a month to keep up with everyone, then when the time comes to start pvping hard, I will be burned out from the questing.

Literally LP is the only reason that keeps me feeling like I HAVE TO DO QUESTS.

You overstuffed yourself and want that FEP Bonus from Hunger, ok, go do quests.
You've gathered a great curio but its study time is like 150h and you're out of xp, ok, go do quests.
You need a nice level 3 artifact with strong gilds, ok, go do quests.

But boy the constant feeling of the possible LP gains from the quests is tremendous and overwhelming at once.

I'm not joking by saying that I've been thinking too much about these quests, and it was all in the LP that could be gained from them.


Please remove LP rewards from quests.

Issues like that made me suggest this, as it would allow to rectify bugs or balancing mistakes that led to runaway LP/FEP without being limited to the current two available options: either wipe or fucking over the ones who didn't grind the problematic mechanic before it got fixed.

Quest rewards just need to be better balanced. I just had a quest for "create a L1 artifact," which I already had the materials for, and got 10k LP at 12 CHA. It took me all of 30s to turn in. that should have been 1k at best. Azrid reported a quest and received 120%+ hunger removal. I've seen other horribly out of balance rewards reoprted.

At this point I am playing 8 hours a day in an organized village and would never run out of stuff to do even without the existence of quests.

IMO just give them diminishing returns. Throw a square root in there somewhere like the hunger system.
