To solve the problem with this thread is, do not die, if you wanna go and fight then you should risk your life.
Your character wont die if you do not risk it, you do not need rage except if you are out for blood, there are plenty of ways to secure your characters.

This man obviously needs to be caught out on deep water in a log boat or a rowboat vs a random group of knar-riding bandits. Even without rage it is very possible to die over deep water, or mining, or just from a snake bite really.

Also to add to the satiations frustration: I ate 2 fish (literally two) on a new character the other day and was set down to 60% fish satiation. Bullshit.

The symbel only helps lower-level players. Rebuilding is actually easier because symbel makes diminishing returns hit hard at high stats.

I haven't had to 'rebuild' but my combat alt has been incredibly easy to raise.

Why not boost the inheritance on death back up to 60% (or more)? Now you have a time limiter on how strong people get fast with satiations and death is less punishing so people are less likely to quit.

Start the world late and no matter who you join or how you play you're forever behind as well.

Didn't the guy Ozzy killed take 600shp damage and still keep walking? If there's people walking around with 350+ stats, likely balanced across the board, aren't we already at the "hope W12 is better" stage?

Edit: It's worth noting that I don't know off hand if the green damage dealt numbers account for armor damage or not. I could be quite off base if his armor was eating a sizable chunk of most hits.
