Spawn an alt in another window and click it from time to time, you should be done after a while.
Or make a small script that chops all visible logs. It's not rocket science and this game is already botted to kingdom come and back anyways, so one more dosn't change anything.
The alt idea seems more tedious than being able to simply throw logs in a bonfire. As for your second suggestion, having coding skills shouldn't be a requirement to have fun with this game.

Want an obvious reason against: griefing. At every raid I have seen the tree farms had been cut down, but at most they have been too lazy to transport away / chop up all logs, so the victims had at least some material with which they could start to rebuild (without having to start from Q10). Giving the ability to destroy whole forests worth of logs quick, easy and cheap would guarantee this wouldn't be the case anymore.
Another perspective, in case you like that better, could be that the Devs usually improve on the most heavily botted parts first (as of their view that automated parts of the game are an indication of bad mechanics that need to be replaced with something better) so turning vanishing logs into a progress quest could well help to speed them up.
I also hinted another argument: removing forrests shouldn't be easy, in case you see the need to clear a supergrid for your base you should have to work for it. Haven shouldn't be Factorio where you're able to de-tree whole continents with ease (as soon as you have a personal roboport).
These are the most obvious ones.
Even you should have been able to come up with them, would you have taken a moment to think about it.
1. When's the last time you've seen a raid? Why did the victims not stash high q tree seeds and treepots in an alt's inventory before the raiders could get through their walls? If alt vaulting wasn't a thing, the victims could still just trade for seeds/pots. It's not hard.
2. What makes you say the devs focus on heavily botted things first? Farming has been a botfest forever.
3. Being able to destroy logs wouldn't make clearing forests easy. You'd still have to drag them to the bonfire and chop down the stumps. It would just be more aesthetically pleasing because people wouldn't leave trash q logs sitting around outside their walls.
