Btw I worded this like it was a joke suggestion. It legitimately isn't though. Technically stair hopping is an unintended combat exploit. This is a legit way around that.

And just to drill in the point, if you kill somebody and they nidbane you and only 1 nidbane heads your way, it should REMAIN as worthless and easy to deal with as Nidbanes currently are. The Nidbane change is in no way an attempt at harming people who kill the odd player here and there. It is solely supposed to be a warning and deterrent for people massacring everyone they come across with impunity. That's all. It's not enforced on anybody; you basically bring it on yourself. If you were to lose a character over this change you basically only have yourself to blame.
I'm going to throw out a random bullshit number that I've just pulled out of my ass here for the sake of an example, but let's say 5 Nidbanes will fuck up almost any character they're sent again. You, as the murderer, will simply steer clear of killing 5 people within that limited Murder timeframe. If 4 is cutting it close, then make sure you don't go over 3. That is how I envision this change working.
It literally can only kill you if you yourself choose to ignore the danger of killing that many people in said timeframe.

Both changes I've suggested will not take one of your villages precious fighters out of the game either. They can still go out and fight with you, just be careful of how many kills you have on your guy so you can't get fucked after the battle by people going back for scents. Spread the kills out between other members if need be.
Nothing changes with village vs village fights which is intended because those are totally fine.

Even if you somehow die (with corpse recovered), in current patch it is nothingburger. Moves and TW can be inherited in 30 minutes, lp have no value after some point, and stats could be restored after a quick session (free hunger reset).
On other hand, baiting some retards with 1hhp alts dressed as hermits could benefit someone like his majesty.
In the end it's totally fun to sit in cuckshed and taking all the cum from naked alts outside (or else you will be killed by game mechanic). Sounds about right.

I don't think that's an issue. If you bait somebody into killing a character like that, they just can't hearth home for 10 days.
If you're implying that them killing that character is going to do anything Nidbane related, then you haven't understood properly. Only 1 Nidbane would be sent out in that situation, which is literally what would happen in the game RIGHT NOW if you were to do that exact same hermit bait character scenario.
Only way you could translate that into some kill is if you somehow convince someone to kill 4 of those hermit bait characters, in which case they're fucking retarded for falling for the same thing 4 times in a row and deserve to be put out of their misery anyway.

As for annoying ass naked alts, well, they're gonna do what they always do, be annoying. My naked alts kept getting killed outside of Clowns base this world and I just kept inheriting and sending him back. There's already very little you can do against people persistent enough to have naked alts stalking the outside of your base because they're free as fuck to make again and again.
So, I can't help you with that one but that's an issue that already plagues the game anyway and killing them is a minor, temporary setback at most.

  • Hearthlings with more than A hours playtime, B stats, and have not committed a major crime in the last C days gain "Cinnamon Roll" status
  • Scents of crimes committed against Cinnamon Rolls are Y times easier to detect, and last Z times longer.
  • Such scents can also be used at a Runed Dolmen to summon special Nidbanes, for example, one that follows the target around occasionally altering everyone in this and adjacent provinces that a Cinnamon Roll Hunter is nearby.
  • The Runed Dolmen will also gain the ability to display a list of the most prolific criminals, so they can stroke their e-peens if so desired.

If nidbaness are that weak why not make it so that you can commit scents, and they begin to pool for that player.
Like Player A kills B, C and beats up D. They all load the scents up to the grudge cloud of player A, and in case someone sends a bane after A instead of just the scent it also gets extra energy from the grudge cloud.

Also the issue is that i was never directly killed. I was always beaten up, then in case it was on boat they destroyed the boat and i drowned, on land they pulled animals. (one can respect the dedication to kill my random sprucecap.... )
I dont know, but i think this does not generate a murderscent anyways.

which is why murder has no extra effects to it. Its too easy to trick someone to murder and too easy to murder someone with out being the direct cause of it.
see homo sexuality trending,. do not do that.
