How can that guy play since 2011 but now all of a sudden pvp is a problem? And keep mentioning "10+ Yr losers" if playing 10 yrs is ur loser veteran benchmark why are still struggling so much that ur this mad? The bots and exploits aren't real u just failed at survival in this survival sandbox game. Don't invent things to blame. It's supposed to be a hard game it's not for everybody some ppl cant handle pressure.

If Jorb had real courage one of the "experimental changes" for this world would have been a ban on bots and alts. Risk your only guy for everything you do. Put some real stakes on the table.

I'm in top pvp village every world I don't know any bots. The farmer farms manually, the miner mines manually. I think I saw a bot to afk in a thicket and produce ticks that's about it. I think I have highest stat in my village I don't have bots. In fact not even just bots ppl aren't that tryhard in general. Nobody is even ppl in other "top" villages. Nobody cares that much anymore if they ever did.

As for exploit there's always some minor thing that gets blown up with forum melodrama like Loftar accidentally forgot to delete snails pneck that he let him use after helping bugtest valhalla last world. Some water thing the world before. Its always snail and its always pretty irrelevant.

Okay, how do people kill dozens of boars by the 30th hour of the game? They don't even take them, they kill them for the skills.

With obsidian knife and 30+ str you have enough dmg to penetrate it's armor. Boar is slower then players, so defence doesn't really needed.

While I'm not at all doubting that plenty of large settlements don't automate, plenty do, and if you do not then you will fall behind them.

I'm fine with that, since I don't have the time to really push anyway and enjoy medium village life, but anyone who wants to be top dog cannot without botting or being supported by those who do.

The game is sort of weirdly balanced around alts, though, and that always annoyed me. Perhaps that's more of a personal quirk, but if the game is oriented around this "risk inherent with everything, you must leave your village and feel the tension" gameplay, the presence of alts at all defrays it.

If you have your one guy, and everything risks them, that's some tension. If you log on "Fisto-Roboto 1, 2, and 3" once a day to feed on STR, AGI, CON and stuff their study while mostly playing on a more general purpose character, your attachment to the character, only to bust those guys out when it's time to dance, your tension is reduced, the risk of loss reduced, and your willingness to gamble these characters on frivolous conflict increased.

Alts can hold all your best stuff in their inventory in the void and only be logged in when it's safe.

Alts can open and close the doors.

Alts can be the safe scouts and disposable soldiers and special purpose tools.

I do not like them. They are the hinge upon which all of my ire turns. The botting to support them better is, to a degree, enabling, but one could get the same effect without the automation with only a slight reduction in efficiency.

I havent got a clue what automation ur refering to and Id love to know who Im supposedly falling behind because I aint seen them in any world, could they possibly be a figment of ur imagination?

If you read that as victimhood, you're not very good at reading. If you don't know of botting clients, you don't know enough about Haven or its history to comment on it in a substantive way.

Since you've been here a while, I expect you're insincere, and not very much good for anything at all.

why idiots won't ask good players how it's done and instead whine there? there is "How do I?" section on the forum. Just ask if you want to know something. Like "how to kill 30 boars in first 24h" or smth bugging you.
