99% of PVP/permadeath woes are an onboarding issue

Thoughts on the further development of Haven & Hearth? Feel free to opine!

Yeah, okay any soultion? Screaming at discord "MODS MODS SOMEONE GRIEF ME BY DROPING LOGS IN FROM OF MY GATES ALL DAY!!!" will not work, coz devs politic is "minimal contancts with commiunity" - they will not and do not wish become your mom, you know.

I feel like an asshole because I don't want to possibly be making fun of some fourteen year old dude just putting himself out there online, but there's so little thought in the post you're responding to. I feel like these guys either don't understand or just don't care what makes this game fun. They would play Vintage Story or some similar survival game and be on their knees begging the devs of those games to just turn it into Minecraft. Why live this way? Is there anything to be done? Save me

A cool technique to address an unfortunate pattern I've noticed: just don't read a post if the guy doesn't have a pfp lol

It's actually real smart tech, thank you, haha.

Please remind me, how exactly this problem is solved currently, if the one placing the logs is, let's say, protected by a group of overstat sweatlords?

Well, let's imagine the options.
If it's a naked alt, you knock him out twice in a row and he dies. Ideally, you should go and break his hearthfire, but if not, he can only make an heir every four hours.
If it's someone like Snail on his character, you either wait for him to switch to someone else (he only has one main character, so he needs to play the game yk), or you and a couple of your neighbors put on bronze armor and run to sting him. He'll likely run around until reinforcements arrive (no one will stand with him for hours waiting for you), but if you've done your homework, it's not hard to deal damage. For example, go with another character and lead the walruses into his snekk. If you manage to undress him once, he won't come back.
Just in case the last part isn't fiction, it happened in the world 14 (or 15 idr).
But with pve disabled you won't have any options but cry to mods and clean up after naked alts.

... Or just move logs away inside the claim, that works too. Takes less effort as well.

pvp is inherently a high cortisol event for majority of players, no amount of band-aids will fix that

"Maybe we should organize events where we teach people how to swim."

"ANY TIME YOU GO INTO THE WATER, THERE'S A SMALL CHANCE THAT YOU WILL DROWN!"

"Welp... that's technically true, but I don't think that it really adds anything to the conversation."
