Do I spend $10 a month on a stable game with tens of thousands of players, or the early access alpha game crashing on a few thousand?

Don't forget the game with 5.5 Million players that also costs the same while also having the ability to earn a 'free' month from playing.

i was wondering about the whole p2p thing. looked some threads and forum found out about the gametime thing and thought, rly pay money for hnh that must be a joke. you get 24 minutes a day free. 24 minutes is a stroll around not more.
and i know you get 48 at start but they will run out eventual.

the worst is some ppl pretend to pay money for hnh its the best thing in the world. thats the same guys that buy cosmetic stuff in games cuz they have to much money. Buy a silly hat or something useful mhhhh.
hnh is not the most stable of games, and sometimes you just have to wait a 1/2 hour just to get something done. Not a bad game but no 15 for 30 days.

the wording :
Game Time lets you play completely unrestricted while it lasts, regardless of how much time you spend logged in.
is a bit misleading and i ask myself could you not explain the difference between game time and play time a bit more.

even though you're the one who doesn't understand how it works?

As of now there's a few options to pay with:

  • $15 (up to $108 for a year) in-game tradeable gametime coin for 30 real life days of playtime, regardless of how much time you spend in game
  • $10 monthly subscription (1 month), or various other amounts up to $72 for a full year, regardless of how much time you spend in game
  • $15 (one time), 24 hours free (max) every month, + one time bonus of 24 hours. This time doesn't reduce unless you're physically in the game.
  • $5/$10/$20 for a hat, similar to a donation incentive

Thank you for such a detailed response, i think i'll stick to 30 days subscription.

Considering the current state of the game I think this monetisation model is stupid. Forgetting the server, which is obviously going to crash often at launch, the game itself isn't polished enough to ask for money for in large quantities at short intervals (from what I know of both Haven and Hafen). I agree that game devs have a right to make money from their games should they choose, but this is essentially early-access on a subscription model. Make the game more of a complete product first, or change to a one-time payment and/or cosmetics shop.

I'm still hoping this is a joke, and inb4 people disregard my opinion because of my low post count.

Thats very kind to warn that we can loose a 300 bux hat in game. Dont you want to do something better for players for 300 bux? Maybe godly shining radiant, or a flaming weapon? Wait you guys cant make proper human models or even interface.. what am i talking about thats way too hard...
