I wouldn't go for that with current server stability and combat system (fuckin lol deers slapping you a 100 times before you get a hit off). I have disconnected a bunch of times while fighting dying, perma-dying should be because of a huge danger you could have foreseen coming, e.g. fighting a bear and getting it to rage, swimming in a just too wide river, getting slapped with wounds and still going, the 2nd or 3rd cave-in, mammoths, trolls and whale hunting and shit but not because of some server dc, random massive aggro range by infinite stamina animals who club your ass then murder you.

But sometimes the wounds are punishment enough after you get your ass whooped by animals, don't need to send people back to the char creator. I'd also definitely would go for fixing those strats how to kill non rage players after you knocked them down, and getting knocked in boats and destroy the boat etc.

Also when dying it's really fucking hard to come back anywhere close to what stats you had before considering if ye eat a single sausage your satiation is at 1%.

Make the animals and flying insects(midges and bees) instakill us. So we can save our soul from this shitty game.

1. remove animal protection from all
2. make it so after you die, you get 90% of stats back (70 without bury)

if death is not so punishing -> you could die more, from pve or pvp, or from bad water mechanics...
more stats after death fix most situations that will make player leave untile next world

interesting approach, that would make fights more interesting as people wouldnt be so afraid to die + the dynamics of the game would change greatly

Sounds good. Better than making combat characters without rage just to kill trolls or things like that.

i can't say for most players. but i do not go to explore this world, and do not try to go to things like meteorite just because if some better fighter decide to kill me (and they surely do) i have no chance, and i will lost last month of playing.

i don't have mega agility, because i need dexterity for craft do
i don't have mega ua/meele, because i need farming for living
i don't have 25 water flasks, because i got only snake belt and i need 3 slots for axe, saw and keyring

i can't win most ppl, and so it is better just to sit at palisade and not go anyware, it is better to not go and play game on whole map, game mechanics punishes me for doing this.

ofc this 50 players, that do faction pvp maybe like, that when they kill somone, he is moved back in progression, but online in not made of this 50 ppl.
