Why are these shitters still a thing?

I got a Q238 node again, giving me unlimited 'high' Q stuff. Knowing that some people have Q300+ and others have Q70 makes this just a shitty animal.

Random animal quality will just mean 1 billion corpses left all over the world, HOWEVER maybe we could have random qualities for those rare beings at least?

I mean I have checked 7 individual angler spots so far and I can't find one above q150, while some other guy has been studying q300 angler lights for who knows how many weeks now. This is bullshit, I want 15m LP and q400 bones, mulch and 1200 str from a single unfair advantage too.

Cave anglers are not the problem, quality nodes are the problem. Whales are a bigger problem than cave anglers. I wonder what I will say next year, I hope I will be even less stupid.

Cave anglers comine the 2 most cancerous things of PvE - animal nodes and e̶x̶p̶l̶o̶i̶t̶ cheese hunting. With bears and meese, you at least have tohave that boat ready, you can't just e̶x̶p̶l̶o̶i̶t̶ cheese them on spot or in the middle of land. With anglers, there just could be "pick" option, would save few minute of heartlings time.

They just need to reduce the max quality across all animals. HQ wild animals affect too much stuff in this game, should be max q200 for everything until domestic meat catches up (which is a fair playing field)

These should be a regional resource that is a big old egg cluster and it releases one every so often.

I love having X amount of characters that run on a bot to scout for anglers all day.

Personally of the belief that this is a symptom of the problems plaguing the animal hunting system rather than a uniquely broken issue within it. Whenever you have people writing bots to spin up Q10 alts with no equipment you know that system is broken. At least this a jo shmo can do without botting even if it's extremely annoying. Whale hunting demands botting.

Both localized resources and animal spawm mechanics fit into that category atm. Spam digging is usually done on secondary characters still (in part for safety, hours of mind numbing semi afk activity right outside your walls isn't a good idea), but at least those characters get some equipment and food.

Yes, but fixing the AI animal system is apparently very difficult, whilst this problem can be fixed very easily. Why not throw in a temporary quick fix for this problem instead of waiting for this huge Animal AI overhaul dat we haven't been getting since day 1?

Would rather they nerf whales first. Cave anglers are pretty accessible to everyone even though they are arguably too good.
