I still think that punishing players for killing won't work. If punishment gets too harsh people will simply create disposable murder alts(some of them already do).
In the end it won't change how many spruces die, but it will have impact on actual pvp.
If you want to limit spruce deaths, give them tools to avoid combat or escape.

Nidbanes are a good example of why punishments don't work. There was a short period when they were pretty op, but no one liked that.
People were baited into leaving scents, to spam nidbanes on them after that.
They got nerfed and people learnt how to easily kill them, so they became useless.
Less experienced players are more likely to suffer from nidbanes.
There is no balancing them.

First we must distinguish between war deads and bandit crimes.
We would need something like a war declaration, by province or realm ... or something similar ... where death can roam freely, after that I'm agree with the op.
Make friends with the other crabs or try to escape the bucket.

My naked alts kept getting killed outside of Clowns base this world and I just kept inheriting and sending him back. There's already very little you can do against people persistent enough to have naked alts stalking the outside of your base because they're free as fuck to make again and again.
So, I can't help you with that one but that's an issue that already plagues the game anyway and killing them is a minor, temporary setback at most.

Sounds like you're annoyed that people were killing your nuisance alts, forcing you to respawn them and walking them over. And you just want to add consequences to murdering them so you can be more of a nuisance.

I seriously had no idea the levels you fucks would go to for this game.

I'm astonished and appalled in equal amounts

Especially after reading how much the botting issue truly is, Yea i'm not a botter, never claimed to be. But I Wasn't even on the same map as you all were when it came to just how much you guys botted.

FFS, this is a no name game that's free.

There is honestly no real reason to even attempt to compete, like It was before.

You and I actually completely agree, the bots are a cancer that's been allowed to metastasize to the point that the game is fucked and development is COMPLETELY warped around it, that's why your idea is bad though.
Filling up my study desk (which was I think, itself, an answer to botting studying,) with mirkwoods or whatever every night and then leaving myself logged in all night when I go to sleep is just as silly and bad as having to run the autostudy script.

I can at least kinda get it if his eyes were just opened up all at once to the granularity with which the game has been cracked open and abused, but yeah, sort of a silly thing to be the final straw.

I did, what about it? It does not contradict anything I wrote, it supports it if anything.
