If you really want to still fight, make an event out of it. Build an arena, challenge someone to a duel, or contact your enemy to pick a place and date for your two armies to meet and kick the shit out of each other. It's not like PvP got removed from the game. People just don't feel the need to buy rage anymore, so anyone who doesn't enjoy fighting other players doesn't buy it.

Not rly. People do plenty of unfun things in video games because they feel it's optimal. The people in my village not buying rage certainly weren't doing so because they want the game to be PVE only.

Isn't like 90% of game design tricking people into having fun against their will, or using potions instead of ending the game with a 999 stack of every consumable

When the choice is pvp or safety, most people will pick safety. It just stops you ganking not necessarily pvp overall. You could still probably hit a meteor and force aggro etc.

As per 'Developer Thoughts on PvP', PvP is a method of conflict resolution. Snail seems to be able to resolve conflicts by sheer intimidation, so as such PvP seems to work. Are there conflicts you're incapable of resolving due to PvP limitations? The apparent problem is a lack of conflicts, not the fact that people you don't have any legitimate reason to attack are too safe from griefing.

If any harm is done to you that you can't resolve through PvP because of system limitations, state what these conflicts are that the current PvP rules are preventing you from resolving.

I guess most pvpers who claim they "want more on the line to make pvp better" are full of shit after all. That comment doesn't apply to anyone who bought rage of course.

Never really took Maze as a hardcore pvp sweat, learning a lot this world.
