Because we apparently can not have bridges.
We could have beaver dams that you can sail through, with doors on both ends. This way it could act as a bridge, you go in the other end and out of the other end!

Well, there are actually more if you include dishes made from specific meats, such as honey'd bear, blubber feast, then there is meat in jelly ... can't think of any more off the top of my head but there are .. oh, onion skewer and ofc there are sausages.

I'm under impression that devs intend to add bridges but that requires significant breakthrough in object-controlled-objects.
