Only people who support it are people who get lots of pearls for whatever the reason.
Many people, like me, wont get ANY pearls, no matter how many mussels we boil.
If devs think that this mechanic of some arbitrary group of people getting lots of pearls, while some get NONE, is good, they should rethink their thinking.....

I am seriously starting to think that people who say they got pearls are not telling the truth!

I tried to wake up at 5am during the lowest amount of players to collect and boil some mussels.
Still 0 pearls.

I highly doubt that this is only bad luck.
But the whole mechanic must be flawed.

Through s/bad/good/ it applies to your argument, which therefore is pointless.
What was your point?

Ah yes, 'works for me'... Please see page 3.

My point is that you made no point yourself. It doesn't apply me to me because I, unlike you, made no such "argument": I did not argue that there there being more than 1 person thinking that the mechanic is fine means that it is.

Its been a long discussion, but devs have not said anything.
Maybe they should, either say that they agree that its stupid mechanic or then tell why they think it works!

That is the problem.
There may be huge issue in the mechanics, but devs may think that "its just bad luck" when its actually not a bad luck, but the system gives advantage to certain group of individuals.

Its been a while since the last time i posted ... but I've to agree with this shuppa guy. At the beggining of the world i managed to get 6 pearls very easy (1000~). I thought to myself ok lets go its time to get the necklace but after boiling 2500+ i have managed to get only one pearl.

Please devs dont punish us the fair players because people use bots, remove the global stock bullshit; it just makes botters stronger.
Casually playing since W2.

lmao poor shuppa ¦]

Anyways it reminds me of when some poor sap dug thousands of sand units just to prove that fluorospar wasn't available despite it being said in the patch update. Mistakes happen, as do bad mechanics. If this is a mechanic Jorb sees as bad also, or one he can at least try to improve on, then it'd be good for him to read this thread. I myself can't really think of a solution but yolo
