What's changed is the coordinated, high-level griefing of less-established players. It didn't used to be like this because there was simply no value in doing so. These cosmetics are fucking stupid to begin with, the fact that they create an incentive for this type of behavior is just icing on the cake.

this has been the way shit is since world 3. If there's a flaw in your shit, you'll get raided by it. If you get caught outside, you get killed, if someone gets in your base, every cupboard will be bashed. Your shit will ALWAYS get destroyed, and all unknowns are kill-on-sight if you have, or ever have had a brain. This game has always been a full bore grief and conflict game.
