I'd like to have the ability to bash my own Palisade just in case I need to expand it or renovate without building a wrecking ball, or what if I'm gone for some time and someone builds a wall around my fortifications and seals me in and I can't get out? still it is on my claim so if I could bash it down easily enough that would be nice.

Could make a mechanic that If built on an existing Claim the claim owner can take it down as if it had no soak.

And if a Claim is made by or expanded upon an existing Palisade it takes 2 weeks or 30 IRL days for the claim owner to trigger ownership of the Palisade, this mechanic is so people can't just cheaply and quickly burrow into abandoned claims without Siege constructs.

Though the claim may not be abandoned, the owner could be taking a break, but this at least gives them enough time to get back and reactivate their own claim.

This makes it so abandoned claims can still be gotten into with multiple routes, you can Cheap Claim and wait 30 days to get in, or Build a Siege Construct and break down the walls in 3-ish and lets claim owners be able to restructure walls around bases easier for expansion or if it doesn't fit the current Design idea after realizing way too late and soak makes it too hard to remove without using a battering ram your own walls.

Current mechanic is that you can't build walls on a foreign claim, not even with criminal acts.

Rest of your suggestion can be done with a wrecking ball.

Make them bashable if claim is dead or unclaimed... would stop people claiming resources because where ever their claim is covering is safe but the rest of it can be bashed meaning never again would people fresh spawn at harvest salt, crystals and any of them.. but they would still be village claimable. Not sure how you would fx that beside's making village claims not dry if they over a resource.. or something. Worth a debate IMO.

This would be a somewhat sane approach.

Setting up an extra village (and keeping it alive LP wise) isn't that much of a hazzle, also has the benefit of allowing a direct teleport to the location using a charter stone. Possibly vclaiming a resource could massively increase the authority drain, so that a legit village can sustain having claimed one (or bigger ones even two) but the normal 'one alt holding LS' resource villages can't?

Drain should also depend on what the village claims.
Claypit can be lower. 30k.
while ice should be like fk'ing 500k a day.


on subject of bashable by hand. if the claim has 0 auth (town/personal) or not on a claim. then yes. bash the fk out of it plz.
I would say this for both Pali and brick. to many times has both been abused

yeah it seems very good to me. (about the increasing authority cost for resources)

Not really. What is the difference between hand-bashing and waiting for 1 more hour? A village with no auth. is screwed anyway, with or without the brick wall.
