for real we need some early game energy food that doesnt fill hunger by a lot and doesnt give any feps.
see homo sexuality trending,. do not do that.

I think originally you can not eat taproot. A man suggests they make it so you can eat it for energy, but it gives no hunger or FEP. Today you can eat it, but it gives hunger. It seem to me that removing hunger from this taproot is obvious way to fix, if it will be fixed in this way.

hell no there's probably a minimum travel weariness bump of like 10% that only applies after some beyond long distance

and im sure as fuck not gonna be using roads in my mines until way later tbh lol

The problem isn't with the concept of the hunger system in and by itself, but just the fact that people get a 2x or 3x boost. If it were reduced to, say, 1.5x/1.25x boost, or perhaps even less, it wouldn't be nearly as problematic.

I also agree that satiation regeneration happens way too fast, even for its current use. I basically just ignore my satiations because they're never that bad and they regen really fast.

You can put that Will to use with a casting rod and catch a whole bunch of mullet.

It doesn't in Salem.

i always thought this change was unrealistic. You still get nutrition from your food whether you are are exhausted or simply hungry. it's just one of several points that I didn't like about Salem's systems.
