In practice I miss the five minute window if it's outside my base so I can't verify 100%, but I know the nearby swamp consistently refreshes if I log out my swamp alt and check back 20 minutes later. You'd expect at least the swamp to attract people. (There's even two different roads to it made by others.)

I collected 13/14 and I suspect the 1 miss was my fault. (not sure at all , but I can't guarantee either if was more cautious I wouldn't have got 14/14)
I've met 7 people in 2 weeks and I no life a fair amount.
The area were I tested was more remoted than where I usually wander, so yeah I'm very confident of my results.

My only gripe is the seemingly completely random credo quests.

Taking the Foraging credo for example - consistently getting "get item that doesn't even grow in this season", "do five different tasks", "get this rather rare item" quests, while others get five "pick a cone", "raid a bird nest", "study a single curio" quests and speedrunning the credo feels a little too much RNG.

I wish it had gradually increasing difficulty and it respected seasonal differences. I do not wish to pick morels on the 20th day of summer. I received about six out of season quests in my first credo, and five others that required rare(r) stuff to be found, whereas the people living near me completed the whole credo in a week.

If it could start with "pick a common forageable", and gradually increased to "craft this curio and then study it (x) times", credo quests would be more fun for me.

I know some people enjoy 100% RNG in games, but I prefer it to be somewhat restricted.
