I'm amazed how jorb managed to ignore lots of long ass posts with legit complaints and ideas to fix the whole thing but he only responds to people saying that it's 15$ a month.

Come on dude, you can do better than that.

You haven't read the whole page through, though.

Yes, I realize that it is confusing. Yes, we are going to rework it.

Are you going to rework the game too to make it worth what you're asking?

Player : Thanks for letting me live here for free for these last seven years
Jorbtar : No problem, by the way we're making you a better house!
Player : That's nice, tell me if something happens.
Jorbtar : You can come to the new house now! we burned down the old one.
Player : OK, but what is this about rent?
Jorbtar : The roof leaks, the doors aren't in yet, we haven't intalled the utilities, and you have to leave in 48 hours if you don't pay rent. Next month you can sniff the furniture for another half day so its fair.

Can confirm, no leaky roofs, there are doors, utilities? bitch make your own gas & electric. Also, freeloading is great and all but sooner or later your broke ass is gunna have to pay rent.

Just hit it a couple times with your axe and make a new one.

Jorb's answer to any critiques: If you don't like it, go play something else.
That's how games fail.

just not upfront for an entire year.
but 6$ / month is definitly an agreeable price.

been reading all the posts and i'm just gonna say i'd be cool with paying 6$/mo and but paying 72$ upfront would burn a hole in my pocket right now... and i almost never pay for games, especially not subscriptions to games. but i just love h&h so much and understand the need of the devs and all.
i hope they choose to at least lower the price. a better f2p option would be great too, but i'm pretty sure that ain't happening.
best scenario would be f2p with purely cosmetic item shop, but we know that ain't happening either. so just lower the price, jorbtar!
(72$ would translate to 258$ of my country's money... it's a lot)

ps: also very sad with jorb's disregard for the community... :(

In that case: At least we tried. ;)

Considering the playerbase we had before the launch I'm not sure I feel I have much to lose.

Devs go to sleep
Servers shut down
Expect to pay 10-15 dollars a month for a game that can't be played when the devs go to sleep

You know when you go to a chinese restaurant but you wanted indian food? They would refuse to serve you it regardless of how much you kicked off, a game is exactly the same. Too much is bad, you can't cater to everyone, and you can't expect the devs to cater to you because you're a broke ass bitch.

For a start, wow has THOOOUUUSANDS of players, using any major online game as an argument against this is like bringing a tank to a fist fight, you're just a dickhead.

this all boils down to "the game is shit so i won't pay more than $X because its unfinished but i expect you to work full time and finish this game in your spare time with no incoming finance to support it before i give you any money after 7 years of just giving your work away"

that's like having somebody plaster your house and saying "fuck you i'm not paying you because you used my kettle and drank my tea"

Either grow up and just accept things as they are or fuck off back to minecraft. I for one am happy this in in place so all the fucking annoying cunts crying about this won't be in the game to fuck with people.

No, that's like having someone repaint my house and then going; I'm not paying you because you forgot to paint the house.
