Mine Support Changes are Awful.

i certainly was covered in boulders, just finished breaking all of them and my next support got to 4% remaining health after two cave-ins back to back were prevented.

at this point im unsure if im supposed to not play until next patch or pray they hotfix the repair and admit it was a missing 0

Clearly old supports were better. jorbtar we don't bitch just to fuck with you we actually want the game to be better too and have fun when we play it. And this change looked not so bad in paper but in reality it sucks. The underground is dangerous enough really with all the shit that can spawn a rekt your day.

I doubt it's getting hotfixed, I would expect some change on Tuesday considering Jorb's earlier comment. Personally I think I'll wait with mining further until then.

I agree with the fact mining supports should take some damages preventing eventuals cave-ins but in this meta people will just make tons of miner alts to dig instead of wasting metals in supports breaking every 1-3 cave-ins ( even the stone pillars ).

Man sounds like mining will be a b***ch in this world.
Decaying minesupports, minesuports taking damage from cave-ins, repairing them with metal.
These are for sure some heavy hits on the miners and metal workers.

Am I the only person who likes playing minesweeper here? Farming is boring in comparison to mining, there is no adrenaline rush if you can't randomly end up harvesting some creature that can easily murder you.

I mined without supports during last world already to find gem and ore nodes.
