I think it would be hilarious if devs made npc "noobs" who would look like real players traveling around in dugouts, hanging out by thingwalls, etc. Except when attacked, the npcs would cause small explosions that would cause some vicious wounds. And also would result in something similar to a snowball, so everyone would know that you had attacked a noob.

Pros: 1. You could still attack real players/alts. 2. Everyone loves surprises!

I genuinely 100% mean this and I'm not being a dick for once.

Why not play Farmville? This game actually advertises itself as a brutal permadeath sandbox. Hermits like rivers because they are exciting and dangerous.

Do you guys really want a full time job to make your carrots the highest number? I thought we've always been here for the politics of it all.

I don't think farmville has quality emphasis.

For me, Its About the risk, prolly why I have built a village in both worlds last time on islands. Yea it's not wise, but I am not a newer player and know the risks.

What kills it for me, Is coming to the forums and realizing that there is really nothing I can do against certain groups in this game, not because they are just better than me, But because they take short cuts and it just dampens my spirit

Yes, I love rivers honestly because they are exciting and dangerous. That's what makes the game NOT be farmville at all for new players, but more like farmville for well-statted players who have no risk. Not knowing what you were attacking as I mentioned above would give you some real risk. It's the same mechanic as pulling auroch's hair, mining (to some degree) or picking lamp stalks. I think you should try out the "is it a real noob or is it a fake-noob gonna cause a cave-in fuck around and find out experience." You could get XP for it, and the image of the fake noob enraged with fire in its eyes would just be funny.

Mostly joking about all this but truly adding risk to all levels would be great.

Only after the Steam description went up - any poor soul who somehow ran into this game and only read the "About" and Q&A" -pages was likely in for a nasty surprise.

Are you in a group that is more dedicated to the game and doesn't quit in the first weeks than the big bad group you're talking about or you're just a solo/duo expecting to go vs groups that have many dedicated players in them? You might need to lower your expectations if you're some hermit or in a group that is unorganized and struggles to understand the game or not dedicated enough as the other big bad groups. The game mechanics are the same for everybody fundamentally

in fact everytime this criminal kills a nidbane a family member of his should die irl.

like you guys are the biggest defeatist players ive ever seen.

Just quit and playing something else lil bro you dont even wanna spend a few hours to get back at someone u just want it handed to you.
see homo sexuality trending,. do not do that.

Races to the bottom are always impressively depraved and cut throat.

You don't remember what it used to be like? Masses of 100, bug raids involving village idols, hearth vaults on mountains with row after row of 1 stick in a signpost. Signpost walls 20 tiles deep between brick walls.

We have nothing, now. You don't have to deal with that butt cancer.

When I used to play seriously I was dual chars (as back then you could not do everything on one char due to sliders) Back then, It was nothing for me to ua bears and such with no armor. Trolls though. . . I found a group of folks who had the same dedication as me(this was a long time ago) We had a cook who had houses full of stat foods and cheeses and had meal plans

We had hunters(two nasty lil Euros) who would keep the pantry and hide station always full.

These were just a few of the people who were in HRE. (Teamspeak was constantly used back then)

I was the LW and my alt was the ranger hunter. Both chars were in the defense group. but that was only used like twice (both no names) This was all before the curio system.

Since then. Yea. I can still be dedicated, but like I said, it's the fact of the spirit.

I still remember the HearthVaults behind brickwalls to the water's edge. the chair, animal, wagon, boat, signpost exploits. the @345456734556725782756725 chat exploits etc etc etc. And I agree, we are better off but weather dealing with butt cancer or foot cancer or pussy cancer. . . It's all still cancer m8
