I get this feeling you've never in your life been in a fight with competent people in this game.

In world 14 our first fights against AD were on ENDER, WITHOUT FLAT WORLD, ON A MOUNTAIN. And we still managed to fight them and eventually they ran out of water before us lmao, but they had flat world, they had combat data above enemies, they had critter auras. All we had was an ugly ass vanilla UI and the ability to ping players, and we were still winning on equal numbers thanks to good communication and actually helping eachother rather than leaving people behind.

Stop blaming these stupid features like seriously

if Frost counts as "competent" there's at least a video of that one lol

and since you mention it flat terrain is the one I have the biggest issue with because it makes the game look so incredibly boring but on a mountain it's absolutely necessary if you want to have any hope of being able to see what you're doing and where you're going during a fight. I guess that might not look boring to everyone, I'm sure some players prefer that as its closer to legacy style.

Exactly. And somehow we managed without it, although it being an obnoxiously huge disadvantage.

Agi estimator on the other hand? Literally nobody used it in any of the faction villages I've been in. People even asked me to add an option to remove it, so I made it an option.

So we moved from I haven't seen a single bot to they're there but are not impactful in pvp, quality race etc.... progress I suppose.

I'm still waiting to see those magic "grind your stats to 5000+++ and quality to q1000+++" bots everyone keeps talking about.

Not fucking "click road to check for angler" bots, or "select field and farm+replant" bots

You understand that all these things and others that are not discussed is not the One thing that wins or loses it. But it's the culmination of all these things that maybe put one over the edge? I have stated it plainly in previous threads. If you are So sure that all this is such hype and that Bots and whatnot don't really mean a thing, then please show me any videos where they used the default client for "important" fights.

It's tedious and funny:

"Bots don't really break this game" says the guy who taught himself how to write code for bots.

"Bots are not that really a big deal" says anyone who A. either using the latest custom client or has their own custom client.

All the Major Factions have A. a personal code programmer or B. uses the latest custom clients.

Yo, can we make a separate thread for client advantage? Not trying to disparriage the current conversation because its an important one too have but I feel bad for OP because this has gone so far from his original topic, which was the effects of skills and attributes on PVP.

The only bot I ever used was the one to scout the continent edges on day 1.
I never used anything else in world 11, world 12, world 13, world 14, world 15, world 16.

I didn't write that ocean scouting bot either, somebody else did.

But once again all I hear is tinfoil hat bullshit and no examples whatsoever, so I'll stop here.
