Giving money is not the issue here, buying the game is normal by me, but taking a subscription, I would just feel like a cow being milked all day. And beaten up a lot.

Ok then, how long do you play the average game you buy for $50? I'm assuming between 8-30hours. Perhaps I am wrong, but it's irrelevent. As lets say you buy an hh subscription for 1 year. You're paying $72.00. And according to the fact that 12 hours a month isn't enough for you, you're going to be playing for at least 288 hours.

Now let me restate the question, HOW many games that you buy in the price range do you actually spend 288 hours in? (Btw thats just 24hours a month, so thats $15).
So realistically if you pay for this game, you'll be putting 500hours in a year.

but it's the majority's concern, i think? and would make most of the people complaining happy. i was just asking anyway, don't mind if you're not comfortable to discuss that with the community, i understand.

Well I'm sorry man, I don't have many solution either.

Having a cash shop with "easy start kits" or this kind of stuff would work great I think. On your shop, you give mostly hats. I dont know if they are usefull to anything but they look like they are here just for show.

I don't know, something like, experience tokens, I'm just going random here.

Or simply keeping up the donation page. It usualy works well if people are happy with the game.

Buuut, we would have to face bots. Once again. which is why a one time payment seemed better to me. Again, I think a big price wouldn't be too much of a problem. If I love a game, I'm willing to give a lot. Simple as that.

But you might have noticed, I got no experience in this kind of struggle.

Pay to win? A cash shop selling stuff to make you go farther in the game quicker, this is not pay to win.
Pay to win would be buying a godly sword that does 3X the damage of the best swords you could craft IG. Look at those koreans MMO, you'll see what I mean

simple: one time fee = life expectancy of user * 72€
don't forget to adjust that for inflation.

btw: i think you should move the options around in the shop and then let the mods ban everyone from then on who talks about 15/month.

really guys, enough of this dyslexia. PLEASE.

i know the perfect solution!
use the medieval gothic on the store page where it says subscription, and put a clear font asking for supporting the game, and details of the benefits with a smaller font. then you should perfectly feel like giving it away.

But a lot of us have a problem with the price, please give a listen to us. You said in an earlier post that we wouldn't pay 10$ and we wouldn't pay 6 either, but you're wrong, I would pay 6$ but I will not pay 10. Why? Because 6 is a fair price for your game per month and 10 isn't. It's not that I can't pay 10$ a month, but I'd feel cheated doing that considering haven is not a perfect game, there are finished games out there with much more content that charge 10$ a month, and hell some even allow you to earn membership just by playing the game on top of the loads of content, and for you to ask 10$ for hafen really makes me feel like you're suckering us, I'd love to support your game and play it but I know deep down it's simply not worth 10$ a month and I can't bring myself to pay that. So to say I wouldn't pay 6$ is flat out wrong and I've explained why it's a fair price.

Yes, paying to advance faster than other players is pay to win. By definition.
