I am obviously late to the party. As a programmer myself, I understand jorb and loftar wanting to monetize their product (I'm actually currently trying to get Valve to offer my own product) but as a consumer I have to ask if the experience is worth the expense.

Currently, I'm unsure. I'll probably give the game a run and see what I see. I'm in a different spot that I'll probably pay for a year's worth of gametime and only play for a month just because I want to support the team who gave me more than a year's worth of enjoyment for free and also because I'm rich compared to you filthy peasants so $110 is simply a nice lunch for me.

I'll be keeping tabs. If you happen to see a hafenite named Warpee running around, don't kill him or I'll quit again.

Bob dole thinks it was unwise of you to tell your name.

But mine and some other player's are. I would surely pay if it was cheaper. Or even if you made some packs, like, each 10$ you get another instant 24h + montly 24h, something not much expensive.

About p2p system.

Postby Fostik » Mon Aug 31, 2015 8:37 am

Good day. As you realised hour system - here my idea:
Formally, when anyone buy access for 1 month, he buy 720 hours of gameplay, for 1 month.
240 he will spent for work
240 he will spent to sleep
So, for 10$ player gets only 240 playtime hours.
As im(and not only im, 80% of playable now) not sure that i want to pay 10$ for 1 month. But i will maybe will pay 1$ for additional 24 hours,2$ for 48, or 5$ for 120, or so.
I think this option must be avaiable.

We don't want to provide money, unless the conditions improve.

You know, I wonder. Maybe they could get people from the community to help them improve the game. A lot of people here have programming skills and are pretty dedicated. They may be willing to help out for free.

I get the sinking feeling that Jorbtar would take advantage of this and make others do all the work, though..

I shall replace that feeling with the absolutely bottomless pit of despair that is the fact that we do not want any help.

I have been playing this new version for few days now and I must say its awesome.

Graphics are nice, animations are nice, gameplay is nice, but still - optimization of the game client itself sucks. You should really do somenthing with it soon. It lags pretty much on my PC (well, it shouldnt).

Thanks. Glad you like it. More coming.

Yes, we want to do more both with optimization and with quality settings to help the client to run on more systems.

No offense, but you are shoddy programmers and should at least consider hiring more people if the game turns out to be profitable.
