Tide pools should count for quests

3. If a fish is spawned in a pool, it is natural there.

Fish does not spawn in tide pool. Fish spawns in ocean waters and becomes caught by this tide pool when tide goes out.

If a pool is big enough, you have to "catch" the fish, you can't just "take" it. You use your hande but still you "catch" the fish.

Tide pool in game you can just take fish just like you can take it from cupboard. It has already been caught for you by tide pool, you can just take it now.

But, all the shitposting aside, there's one ironclad argument for tidepool loot giving credit for "catching" fish. It gives the DISCOVERY when you find a fish in a tide pool you've never seen before. Therefore, the game thinks you got an item from the wild by yourself (as opposed to taking something placed into a container by someone else), so, yeah, that should give credit for "catching a fish".

Discovering item does not mean you have ''caught'' this item. Only that you have discovered it.

Some men seem to think that taking fish from tide pool should count as catching fish for quest, other men disagree. Thread is mostly argumentation from both side as well as some spam posts from Hasta.

That seems fine. You can get discoveries for taking things out of barrels. Barrels didn't grind flour but I still get a discovery/quest credit for it.

Discovery for item is not same thing as catching item. Do you have quest for ''catch flour?'' I have never seen quest with this objective.
