Aleck please say sike. I was hoping this shit you've been posting was an attempt at trolling but it's getting uncomfortable.

New Year, New Haven

it's time to finally make a change that will make the game more enjoyable for people who are not sweaty tryhards

why did you even bring up eating as some example of the game being made "less harsh" then, eating has hardly anything to do with survival mechanics in hafen

and come on, you know exactly what the changes to eating did-it makes it so now eating across normal time frames is equally effective as spamming small amounts of food every few hours.
I think I get what this troll is supposed to be now aleck, I just hope the devs aren't too dense to get it

I'm not trolling at all, and I regret going so far off topic, the PVP trolls are coming in here to try to argue and I'm only trying to rebut the relative arguments

At the end of the day I am only trying to show why a PVP opt-in world would be totally fine and worthy of atleast trying

I really don't think anybody can argue against the idea of atleast trying 1 world like this to see what happens

For the record I would genuinely be in favor of a opt-in / no PVP world. I think it would be very fun :D

It would make griefing with an army of fresh alts with no combat stats trivially easy. There’s literally no recourse since they can just opt out of pvp

The amount of tears and regret would be delicious. Would probably ruin the game for good though

How could any hot-blooded male deny such a request under the circumstances.

Exactly, this simply cannot be handwaved away. I'm pretty sure OP knows this, and it's the point of the thread.

Just make forced pvp opt-in when entering a claim without permission and that's 90%+ of alt abused covered.

I'm not a PVP or griefer at all and have no reason to want to condone or create this kind of behaviour.

I absolutely agree that it would probably cause people to want to grief more, but I feel like it's the lesser of two evils and worth the experiment.
