To be fair, though, while you would be done with the transaction, we would be stuck with you forever. ;)

I don't see the issue with paying for a game, I'd even pay for old haven, which frankly I prefer since that loads for me and I enjoy my time on it!!

Now if only I could actually log into this new version to see how good it is. (helppppp)

If I could pay a lump sum of money to have permanent access to the game without time limit, I'd love that. With my job being as weird as it is and pay being unstable as it is, I'm worried about dedicating to monthly payments when some months, I really could use that extra bit of money in other places. I'd feel a lot safer paying a larger sum of money at once when I know I have the money to spend, rather than smaller amounts over time when things might get a bit rougher than previously expected.

Regardless, I do think the backlash was a lot more extreme than it deserved to be. You guys make a great game and still let us play an insane amount of it for free, you don't deserve the hate.

can i just buy old hnh for like 10 bucks? serious question
The Brodgarwalder Shwarzhanden im really interested in seeing this take off. Players who are interested in combat but that want to fight the good fight and not necesarilly be part of any town except for alliance could hopefully be interested. Basically Nomadic Ranging/Combat SPecialists helping those in need and heelping to forge new alliances.

For now Galaxy Legion (a fb game) and even IMVU are more likely to get my cash. Since they do offer well gift cards I can buy. I do not have the money to do things past some cash things, thing thought both are fully free at there best and you can do the the time, the trick comes if you want anything shiny (Galaxy legion, you want a planet with moons? pay 6 bucks each chance, and ya another play take the planet from you if they can find it), IMVU whole economy is based on ypou spending real money to use, (they even get a cut since everything is made my the users). Gaiaonline is free yo can gain all the premium items out of the player run market, thought given its a player run market it might take you 10 years to get it as a free player now (they dumped a lot of cash for gold into the game to things inflated).

Yes, but usually when games have monthly subscriptions, they don't also sell PLEX, and microtransactions, and "verifications". At least that's the problem I have with the current system...

Hey :D

Thx for yr input, I like you come clear to us.

I fully agree people deserves payment for their work. I pay in one way or another for almost all fun I get in my life, and I am willing to pay for H&H that has given me a real lot of fun in this pasts years for free and I expect it to give me much more in the future. I am gratefull for all you have allready given to us and I am not angry you have finally decided to charge for your work. I think you have earned the right to do so long time ago. We have had a very stable server with a nice and fun game and you have demonstrated you are serious about keeping it up.

I am an H&H farmer, idk to fight. I like to build, craft, trade, and mainly keep up farming.
I do not use bots, i dont care for them, I believe that if the machine does it for me I miss the fun of playing myself and there is no point on playing.
I have to farm every day to keep Q up, otherwise Im out of good trades. To keep up my farming (without bots) I need to be logged on at least 2 hours a day, and find someone to replace me the days my work/life does not allow me to log.

Related to payment:

- The amounts you have picked in some countries are real high. I live in Argentina where we pay a lot of taxes over abroad payments, and also life is cheaper and paychecks are much lower than in Europe or USA. Brazilian people is surely thinking the same, and others too.
u$s 5.- is an affordable amount for us, I bet there are very few that here can pay more than u$s 10.- each month.
This will draw away a lot of the people I used to play with. :(

- If the game keeps on being based on Q, that I think has not changed (at least for now), and for maintaining Q in constant increase my account needs to be logged at least 2 hours a day, limiting the logged time makes it p2w. Ofc someone can tell me I can decide not to race for Q, and it is a fact that there are players that do not race, but it is the basic idea of the game and the way we use to succeed (in my case to not be killed every day). So, even I agree this might keep out a lot of boting which is hated (not by me), but by a lot of the player base, I dont think this is the best way to do it.
I like the idea of p2p, I hate p2w. Basically I hate the idea of paying to get better stuff than others, I like to earn my stuff ingame. :(

I don't see any problem with the store. They are very flexible and reasonable, there is even a free trial and opportunity to continue your character development each month (heh try finding that in other p2p mmo there is none!), what people don't realize about mmo game is that server, maintenance, and development cost are recurring monthly so a one time payment for a lifetime service is not good. Traditional game receive no further major updates and if there is expansion or DLC it costs more. MMO on the other hand receive new contents every patch.

It's just that some aspects is not managed well; timing, communication, and community. Timing is bad because people have waited so long and they have grown impatient and sensitive? Communication as the message of p2p aren't so blunt and direct before launch so people expected free game like usual. Community because... Well you know the forum has been very tolerating to barbaric behaviours, trolls, etc. So what seems to be light moderating practice in the general standard is viewed as dictatorship in here. :D I guess we should practice more strict moderation.

I believe survival is an ability to adjust and adapt to changes.

Isn't HnH a survival game? How come that the players demand the game to change and adapt instead? ¦]
