What about this way to monetize the game.

I don't actually mind the system as it is right now, but I do know a lot of people who mind it, and many of my friends and interests in this game immediately tossed it aside yesterday, sadly.

I believe it would benefit both the developers, and the playerbase with a system that follows.

Simple, one time payment to buy the game, an ingame cosmetics shop for skins that does not affect the gameplay, and hear me out, a patreon page.

Is it that crazy of a thought? I know for sure that I wouldn't mind pledging a few bucks a month to a Haven patreon if I knew the money went to the devs and would eventually improve the game.
