Hunger Level

Forgive me for not understanding, but why is hunger level not tied to your current energy?

To get the most out of food you want to keep your hunger level low; however as it is not tied to your energy level you are forced to eat, as your energy level naturally goes down whilst playing the game and doing things (to replenish your energy you need to eat or face death as you start to lose health from having a low energy). Your hunger level seems to go down ONLY via RT minutes, this systems current implementation just seems to punish actually playing the game and reward being logged off or just afking, as by playing the game and eating (to avoid death) means your hunger level will continuously rise, meaning you will get less and less benefit towards FEPs the more you actually play the game.

You can see it as the difference of a high-energy concentrate for astronauts compared to a diet meal:

The first will give you much energy but won't fill you up much (you stay hungry, given your still nearly empty stomach),
the latter will fill you up (since it feels like concrete in your stomach) but dosn't contain nourishment for your body.

Food seems to expose these qualities now...

Hey thanks for the reply.

It seems that the stamina % in food is actually the % of energy it will restore once eaten (typo maybe? as it doesn't correspond to increases in stamina). Are there any actual foods in game known for or used for their high stamina %?

Rats on a stick give 450%

Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.
Avu: The end is near it has finally come to pass: I agree with Lunarius...
Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.

Food is more efficient at leveling you up the hungrier you are.
