Bow Drill

The Bow Drill could be crafted, using string and 2 sticks/bones. It would be equipped and would allow you to create a firebrand faster, it could consume a log.

This is a really good idea. :D It's a simple but useful upgrade to a simple firebrand, and would be reusable, consuming only one stick per use instead of two.

Not all things Salem were bad. While I was playing it until this game launched, I actually rather enjoyed it. If you overlook how EASY it felt.

This would be cool if it less tiring to start a firebrand.

Or, or, can we make that fricking steel lighter rechargeable (or at least not that ridiculous)?
A q65 Flint&Steel gets you a whopping 26 charges, putting it on par with lighting a cigar with a 50-dollar bill.

Bow drill, extra-durable steel lighter requiring everglowing amber, but please, make some thing for past mid-gamers to light a fire without so much frustration.

Yea, the dollar isn't worth shit these sad times.

I converted one bar of steel from the first batch into lighters (so in case one forgets to put it back after use another dosn't have to fall back to sticks) and they haven't run out of charges so far, main reason is that you usually only need one per RL day (light the eternal fire and do the rest with a torch).

So IMHO flint&steel is OK as-is - but making fire with a bow and one stick would be a good midgame mechanic should it be priced half the energy and time of the current two stick craft.
