So I was wondering why these stacked and only counted down by 1 every few hours, it doesn't make any sense.
Instead of having them all stack and forcing your character to have the same 65 Nicks and Knacks for months, don't allow them to stack and instead let them be their own wound by themselves (Unless received in the same attack, to simulate the same area being Nicked/Knacked.)
Instead of this:
Bruise: 3
Cruel Incision: 40 (Which is uncurable..)
Fell Slash: 15
Nicks and Knacks: 65
With this system saying it takes 4 hours of time to "cure" one Nicks & Knacks, My character is stuck with minor "inconveniences" (I wouldn't classify them as wounds) my characer is effectively punished for nearly 11 days for things that would be healed within 8-24 hours.
Make it this:
Bruise: 3
Cruel Incision: 40
Fell Slash: 15
Nicks and Knacks: 5
Nicks and Knacks: 5
Nicks and Knacks: 5
Nicks and Knacks: 5
Nicks and Knacks: 5
Nicks and Knacks: 5
Nicks and Knacks: 5
Nicks and Knacks: 5
Nicks and Knacks: 5
Nicks and Knacks: 5
Nicks and Knacks: 5
Nicks and Knacks: 5
Nicks and Knacks: 5
The above is much more realistic since all your Nicks and Knacks would be healing and healing rather quickly. When does a Nick/Knack take weeks/months to heal? The body doesn't go "Herp a Derp! We got 65 boo-boo's so lets focus them 1 at a time! The body takes care of them as soon as you receive them all at the same time.
Changing it to this would allow a more realistic way of healing versus the current system.
Bottom Line:
Up the time per healing wounds to lets say 16-24 hours (per stacks of Nicks and Knacks)
- This is due to the body healing them simultaneously and not 1 at a time.
