Numbers abover combat skills 1 - 5

I know this seems like a crutch but sometimes if you only have 4 combat skills up in say slots 2-5 you are pressing the wrong buttons because the skills are not labelled 1-5. Plus would help newbs.

If you dunno what I mean will up a screenshot in a bit.

The graphical UI should be fixed, yeah.

This will also help in general with quick identification of the slots. When moves get replaced at a rapid rate, you don't really want to count which exact slot that one move you want to perform is in.

I'd rather have QWERT or QWERF as skill keys, because 1-5 overwrites the hotkey bar which may still be relevant in a fight (water container, shooting arrows etc).

With a limited amount of combat slots available using letter keys shouldn't really be a problem.

We considered that, but it A) interacts poorly with the action menu hotkeys and B) breaks on non-standard keyboards.

How about giving players possibility to map combat skills buttons themself? Hopefully it is not hard thing to do.

Dang, I was afraid I'll hear that. In that case I guess that adding numbers, so it's easier to recognize slot in UI is all we need until more important things are done.

The combat icons are also in the middle of the screen in a game that relies on mouse click to walk, they basically make it impossible to properly navigate if you wish to run during a fight.
