Salvaging wood

Shouldn't wooden objects leave firewood when you destroy them? I think it would be useful as progression leaves you with items, crates, etc which aren't needed anymore. Would be nice if a crate dropped a plank or something.

makes sense anyway even if u get 10-30% of what was invested in it
