Study table and Curiosities

It was always a wonder to me why developers never made possible to put more than one the same curiosity in the study table.

For example as a new player in grassland I get way too many Dandelion. So I thought it would be great to story them in study table.
How this would work would be that you can put as many same type of curiosity in the study table but, they would be studied one at the time, let's say the very first top left would be the first to be studied.

This would make it easier and wouldn't be that you can study same ones at the same time, which would make other players too OP. In other words lets say you have at the top layer full with Dandelion, second layer Cone Cow and third Lady bug. The the top left would be studied first and then the second and so on.

Hopefully this makes sense, by what I mean.

I agree that you should be able to condense some of them, but I think this should be done through the crafting system. In this case I have considered a bouquet of flowers for some time.

that would be great, since it would save inventory space of forageable curios which come up 4 or 5 at the same spot and you can only study one of them at the time.
And if it would be possible to make all curiosities to be able to study more than one.
