I would like to suggest a method that would allow players to heal the evil wound known as wretched gore.
I would like to see a skill called Surgery added to the game that can be bought after metalworking and sewing are purchased. Surgery will unlock the ability to make a scalpel or some other form of medical tools.
The scalpel will require metal to create. Heres where my idea gets a little interesting. Players possessing the right equipment and skills necessary to perform surgery may do so using a new Surgery action on other players. Surgery should require a scalpel and a string. The quality of the string and scalpel will affect the success chance of the surgery along with the players dexterity and sewing.
Wretched gore can turn into a couple of different wounds after being operated on. One being "Stitched Wound", which will heal naturally on its own. Another being something along the lines of "Infected Gore" or just "Infected Wound". The amount of each wound a player gets after surgery will be dependent on the quality of the materials used and the player who acted as surgeon. The catch is that an Infected Wound will continue dealing HHP damage the longer it is allowed to remain in place. The Infected Wound should be healed using a poultice, or maybe some other new item jorbtar might want to add. A penicillin from various mushrooms would be cool.
