We should have more recipes that involve most or all of a given food category. Three off the top of my head-

Marvelous Mushroom Medley: a stew comprising every single mushroom in the game, even the ones that are normally just curios. Made in a cauldron, with a high FEP count for perception or something.

Bombastic Berry Bake: Bread dough (maybe more than one) + one of every edible berry. All of them. Eeeevery single one. The horror. Intelligence FEPs?

Stupendous Seafood Stew: All the fucking fish. Those poor village peasants do nothing but fish. Psyche or Dexterity, maybe.

The alliteration is, of course, mandatory.

Yeah, the fish stew sounds ridiculously hard. Should give massive psy or you should get multiple servings from one crafting, or both.

Alternatively you could just have recipes that take a certain number of things from a given category and depending on which ingredients were used you could get different FEPs. Things that require a ton of really specific ingredients would have to be quite impressive to make them worth the trouble.

My mix n match cooking idea was exactly this. Some combo food items that are flexible rather than hard coded to supplement the current system.
