Yeah I think he's trolling until he provides evidence...
my 2 cents:
I would like attack types for mc to be different for different weapons. Say:
Sting/valstrike: striking for 1H swords, melee spears
Chop/Cleave: sweeping for axes/2h swords
Batter/Crush: oppressive for clubs/maces/warhammers
Shield bash: I prefer backhanded for roleplay reasons, but damage should depend on the shield, say 30*sqrt(sqrt(q*str)/10)) or something
In addition to this, you shouldn't be able to swap weapons in combat - or doing so should give some major disadvantage, like a very long cooldown (maybe you could swap decks at the same time?) That way you can choose your deck based on the visual cues from your opponent. (We need combat deck hotkeys pls ;( )
Also, it would be nice if not having stuff equipped in your hands gave a bonus to the damage of ua attacks, or having stuff (or just weapons, to help foragers/newer players) equipped gave a penalty.
MC moves:
I think that the shield manouver is too strong if you have it defending against all. I'd rather at least have 2 moves, "Shield Block" (striking/backhanded) and "Shield Deflect" (sweeping/oppressive), or something like that. And they should have more like 2x weight, given the different mechanics this world.
For those 2h warriors, maybe there should also be equivalent "parry" and "fend", with 1x weight.
I like the riposte move, but would probably restrict to a particular weapon type.
Edit: Also, throwing spears that use sqrt(mc*mm) pls!!!
