Proposing this idea I've been thinking of for awhile. I've seen the modern day farming techniques of domestication, basically changing a once huge beast into a domesticated creature for our uses. But in reality we could actually take our efforts even further to create majestic beasts built for war or higher production. We could also do the same in H&H. Take the domesticated fox project in Russia for example currently. They've taken rabid foxes and turned them into pets, the independence of a cat but the loyalty of a dog.
Now the ACTUAL idea is a farming skill called Artificial Selection, above Druidic Rite. It would cost in between 500k LP to 1m LP. The benefit? Being able to identify certain genes in farm animals and breed certain genes together to make them more powerful each generation. For an extreme example you have 2 cows that have a gene for birthing faster, you can breed this for generations until a cow apocalypse where they're breeding every 1 second. You could focus on breeding pigs that have a gene for producing more young. You could mix powerful genes together and create cows that shoot out 15 calf's every 2 seconds

. We could breed chickens that could eventually fly, make a chicken transport vehicle powered on barley and morsels (sarcasm). You could even tie the meat producing into this. Say this cow will produce MORE meat than a lowly cow. You breed this gene and eventually you reach legacy levels of 8 hour butchering. The cow could even grow in size the more meat it had. All of this through player selection. I'm not sure on the finer details of the idea but Artificial Selection is partially in the game already with the quality system, but wouldn't it be great if it was pushed further?
Think of the endless supply of wool!

Think of the endless supply of meat!

Think of the endless supply of battle ready chickens!

We buy things we don't need with money we don't have to impress people we don't like.
