Town claims on surface and in caves/mines

I would like to see town claims extended into the mines. that is all.

pretty much. Claims should extend into the ground. you'd be pissed if someone tunneled under your property, right?

just don't make it extend infinitely to the bottom, that'd be a Bad Thing.

make it cover only the layer that can be mineholed in to. IE L2 village to layer 3 cave.

Why? Make mineholes an authority object if within town limits. If I want to wall and dig each level 2 level 5 why not have a town to level 5? I'm probably not within the right exploity mindset so enlighten me why going lower is a problem. I mean people will have to make alt towns for lower levels if they do want to claim underlevels anyway. Not that I see much reason why they would other than vaults.

Ill explain whats happening right now.

as my guys dig lower and claim lower, and we new add people to claims.
we always have to wait for one guy to log on~ or in 1 case we now have a claim alt, who soul job is to feed claims.
if we were just able to put our town claim down into the mines, this would not happen.

Rather than making it automatically extend to 5, make it so you can banner on L2 that extends to L3?

It's still less hassle than building an alt town, but new territory doesn't have to be free y'know?

I see an issue because it'd be gay as shit for people to have claims all the way down to depths sometimes they don't even understand. It would just piss me right off to see someone accidentally claimed a node I wanted without even knowing it and then I have to go burn them to the ground. There's probably some huge annoying griefy thing I'm just forgetting to mention because I'm tired and I wrote that post a while ago.

Make all authority expansion objects apply to the layer just under. That way villages can claim layer 5 but it would require more work and require land on layer 4 anyway.
