I think a chess board would be nice to have in game. Checkers would be another nice addition.

Why not allow to create pieces as separate items and allow you to put the item set into the board to determine whether you can Checkers or Chess?

I had an more updated version i forgot to add the text. to this post what had the images.

but yeah~
pieces would be made of any Wood, Ore or metal.
The table would have no script other then items on the table can be moved around by people with visitor buff.
the table itself does not need to show the pieces moving, other then that there is something on it.

Checkers would need abit scripted pieces namly just to king the pieces.

My question is why don't the devs just let some smart players design some stuff for them and if they like it they add it? They don't want to release source code?

have to ask j&L...but never been their style. I always thought they were afraid of lawsuits....what normally is what devs are afread of...I know I am.

Yeah, I think there's been a ton of us wanting this for a long time. I made one in w5 on paved ground. I hadn't worked out all the pieces, but we could play checkers with a couple different items (wicker/birch baskets).
