Bug Net

Postby NaoWhut » Wed Oct 28, 2015 7:24 am

So i've realized that one of the most
frustrating things about the game,
and the early stage in general, is
when you're trying to get one of the
best curios in the game (Dragonflies)
and you end up chasing for 30 minutes
before dying to leeches...

What if there was an implemented way
to get dragonflies better? It would be
much more noob friendly as well as a
way to make dragonflies possible to
be gathered without a horse.

Say there were a bug net that had a
sort of range to it. Like... the way you
use a clover on an animal and it comes
to you... what if the bug net had a way
of doing that, or like some kind of bait
for dragonflies y'know? If there were
ways to get around the tedious and
frustrating parts of the early game it
may help to attract players and

YOU STUPID DRAGONFLY IT HAS BEEN 30
MINUTES JUST LET ME CATCH YOU please...

Dragonflies make me less mad than fleeing bears but yeah couldn't hurt.

a man need only strike another to make him evil."

Yes, I have actually already thought of this. The character should make the same animation as Link does in a Link to the Past. (360 spin with the bugnet)

So we spend more time searching for mats to build a bug net to just go hunting for something we could spend time catching by hand... It would only be practical after the early period when you want to save more time.

the thing i dislike about dragonflies is that it's easier to click the minimap icon than it is to click them in the game window

Sounds like good idea, maybe 1-2 tile range. That already would help a lot!
