Proposed wheelbarrow changes

Postby Luckdemon » Thu Oct 29, 2015 7:13 am

1. Request to allow to dump stockpiles of food (beets/carrots/etc) direct into a trough or coop.
2. Rebalance carrying capacity? 30 pumpkins or 40 sticks, what is larger? or 40 leaves....

Might consider.

I think it should carry whatever the pile size for that item. So 250 leaves, etc.

I suggest half the stock pile. Lets not make our lives too easy.

Half seems reasonable

Do you all go to masochism school? Half is reasonable? Why? Jeesus.

That would be lovely and makes perfect sense, esp with the troughs.

Half seems reasonable

You two seem to be using stuff like this way to often:

Given the cost of the thing it should be able to pickup a stockpile complete, clean and swift, else it is - compared to a cart with some LCs - useless.

IMO the ideal use for a wheelbarrow is moving around stockpiles without needing to use your inventory when you need to organize and rearrange an area. You can also use it for transporting mass quantities here and there but ye olde cart + chests is probably going to be better at that.

So following that logic the wheelbarrow should be able to carry a full stockpile based on the item rather than a hard limit of 40. And also it's too expensive to make for what it can do.

Maybe full stockpiles for pretty much everything and half for a few exceptions like Pumpkins. Because, you know, it's a pumpkin. They're not exactly tiny.
