Dyes for fabrics?

could it be possible to have colored linen for example by mashing up a beet and putting it in a tanning tub with the linen cloth to make purple fabric for shirts and things? use nettle to make a green dye, blueberries to make a blue dye, maybe some sort of bark for an orange dye, lingonberries for a pink dye?
just a thought, i think it would be pretty cool and distinctive like the woods and boughs in the game to be able to use items for dyes!

It has certainly been suggested several times, and, it would certainly be a nice thing. It is, however, also far from trivial.

Maybe a reason for linen clothes to exist, as in legacy they only served to keep nettleless noobs clothed and now they're, well, COMPLETELY USELESS
