Get rid of keys

Now that there is a visitor buff when people enter a gate on a claim, you can't raid people who accidentally leave their gate open.

So what is the point of having keys for the gate?
Can we just make gates like field cairns/ claims where you can give entry/exit and maybe open/close rights to certain colours?

Then if the gate is closed and you have access to 'travel' through it you just pop through the gate. If you want to let someone who doesn't have gate travel access you then to open the gate.

To open the gate you need to have the gate open/close rights.

No idea how they managed to attack while inside, as they should have had the visitor Debuff.
Very annoying as this was my main, with farming over 100.

Here goes your visitor buff.

Someone who has 100 names in their kin in every possible color wouldn't agree with you. With keys it's easy - if you want someone to have access to this gate, you make him/her a key. Anyway, it's more realistic with keys.

You must play the game totally different to me if you enjoy dicking around with key vault ults, having to move hearth fires for 1 way gates and asking people to let you through. Much easier to just set the same colour rights on the gate as the claim the gate is on from my perspective.

whether visit buff is currently working correctly or not doesn't change how its intended to work.

I'd much rather have the perms system similar to field cairns instead of having to carry these stupid keyrings around, but it wouldn't be very IMMERSIVE

Bugs aside I wholeheartedly agree with the Op. I have a lot of people in my kinlist and don't see this as a problem. Permissipn based systems would be so much easier.
