Im all for adding mead. Rum...I don't think so. Didn't it only become a major drink once sugar was discovered in the new world?

Pretty sure the rum thing was just a Pirates of the Caribbean reference. Although sugarcane is actually native to southeast Asia and was spread west by Arab/Persian/Greek (depending on what source you look at) traders. Although I think it was Columbus that brought it across the Atlantic.

But we do have honey so no reason mead shouldn't be a thing eventually.

Mead is made with fermented honey and water. It's probably the first alcoholic beberage and in nordic tradition, if I'm not wrong, its quite popular. I'm talking about Asgaard, Midgar Utgar and those places.

Alcohol in exces is dead...

Beer is not in yet either. Need some decent effects for drinks first.
